Hire Up Staffing Services – Fresno, CA
National manufacturing company in the Central Valley has an immediate opening for an Accountant to manage fixed asset inventories at multiple locations. Responsibilities will include tracking of capital expenditures, reconciling to the G/L, ensuring budget guidelines are met, generating PO’s for capital expenditures, and properly accounting for capital and operating leases.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business with an emphasis in Accounting. Equivalent work experience may be substituted. Prior experience with fixed asset accounting, capital projects, and the general ledger is strongly preferred. Advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook are also required along with the ability to quickly develop a good working knowledge of a proprietary fixed asset system. Must have excellent communication skills to effectively work with outside vendors and various levels of management. Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills are also required.
Pay rate is $18-$23 per hour, commensurate with experience. Occasional travel to out-of-state plants is also required.
