Responsibilities
· Coordinating and providing nursing care including the evaluation, treatment, education and counseling of patients.
· Assessing each patient to maximize the quality of life through pain management and other therapies.
· Maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in a hospice setting, and adhering to regulatory compliance requirements and directives.
· Providing respect, kindness and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
· Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a current California RN license in good standing.
· Minimum 1 year of home health or hospice nursing experience.
· Current valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Criminal background check and drug screening are required prior to employment.
