Meet Kevin Nist, Controller for Hire Up Staffing Services. He joined the Hire Up team in July of 2020 following his career as the CFO and partner of one of the top-200 privately owned independent insurance agencies in the nation. Kevin brings skills and experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), banking, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance with legal requirements, internal communication, and a fair amount of insurance knowledge. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from John Carroll University in his home town of Cleveland, Ohio.
After graduating from college Kevin moved with his family to Fresno, where his father had purchased an agricultural magazine publishing business. He still roots for the Indians and the Browns, plays golf when he can, and enjoys traveling with his wife and daughter. After a family cruise to Alaska in 2019, Kevin has now been to all 50 states.
Kevin has a passion for detail and accuracy, always hoping to go beyond expectations. He has a strong ethical foundation, addresses complex issues with confidence, and cares very much about his fellow employees. He is looking forward to the challenges of contributing to Hire Up’s growth goals while experiencing new relationships with colleagues and clients.
